 | | 005: 507011, 507027 & 507010 Collison at Kirkdale in 1982 (9 images)
These were collisons that took place at Kirkdale Depot.
First collison in 1982, involved 507011 & 507027, causing alot of damage to both units. The good ends of 507011 & 507027 were coupled together and ran around as an "Hybrid Set" until the damaged units were repaired at Horwich Works.
The second collison later in the 80's involved 507010 & 507014 and again the good ends of these were coupled together to form an "Hybrid Set"
Unfortuanalty i do not have a picture of 507014.

Welcome to my Merseyrail Electrics webpage.
Pictures of class 502/503/507 & 508 stock that i have taken over the years from 1980 upto the present day.
At some point in the coming months i am planning on going to Scotland to photograph the Class 314's and then down to London to get the Class 313's, 315's and the rest of the Class 508's down south.
I will then update my website to include these units. |
